By car
Crossways Farm is clearly signed from both directions. Satnavs usually take you to somewhere near the junction of Brettenham Road with the B1115 (The Causeway/The Water Run). Crossways Farm is approximately 300m along Brettenham Road away from the junction - see below for directions.
Approaching on the B1115 from the north (via Stowmarket or Great Finborough): After you pass the Hitcham sign, keep going for approximately 1 mile until you reach a right turn, signposted to Brettenham and Bury St Edmunds. Take this right turn onto Brettenham Road and drive for approximately 300m. Crossways Farm is a red thatched house on the left and is the last house before you reach the end of the 30mph zone.
Approaching on the B1115 from the south (via Bildeston or Kettlebaston): Drive up the hill through Hitcham village, passing the village shop on your left. Approximately 1km after the shop you will reach a left turn which is Brettenham Road (signposted to Brettenham and Bury St Edmunds). Take this left turn onto Brettenham Road and drive for approximately 300m. Crossways Farm is a red thatched house on the left and is the last house before you reach the end of the 30mph zone.
Approaching from the west (via Brettenham, Buxhall or Rattlesden): Drive along Brettenham Road towards the B1115 from the Cook’s Green crossroads (Stondon Lodge and Peppertree Farm are at this crossroads), signposted to Stowmarket. You will pass a Free Range Eggs sign on your left just before you enter a 30mph zone. Crossways Farm is the first house (red, thatched) on the right.
